I do think it was unintentional. He did interpret those clause in a very narrow manner and to extreme conclusion.

But does that justify all this hateful content and personal attacks at him.

Criticism is good, this sort of attacks are never okay. (makes the community toxic for no good reason)

i genuinely think PirateSoftware did nothing wrong, he laid out his opinion and said what he felt. Yes, that wasn't aligned with the general sentiment around SKG, but all this hate and attack, puts them in a negative light.

Another benifit is the query invalidations and due to their focus on good practices, it helps us write good code.

This even though a good advice, is very difficult. Our modern lives are so intertwined with mobile phones, that it's practically impossible to leave it at home.

LLMs are really powerful at what they do, however what they do is, approximate the next word. They are not concious machines.

Orgs like OpenAI wants people to think otherwise, and their products are tuned to keep the conversation going.

I think if you can, then you should write good code. It definitely helps in the long term and for the enjoyment of programming itself.
