I’m a caregiver for my mom with Alzheimer’s. She once said to my stepdad, as he was getting grumpy, “If we were monkeys, I’d be flinging crap at you.” He burst out laughing, she often had good ways of diffusing him. A must when one lives with a tyrant.

Agreed. We need to make the tent big enough for the entire human race to fit, we only have each other and this planet, if we can keep it … all together. We don’t need “big daddy,” we are enough to get the job done.

ALL THOSE PREEXISTING CONDITIONS, like MENOPAUSE, CANCER and whatever else is a cut on profits and you’re screwed. Capitalism is great, but not in healthcare or food where we all die 4 $

I wasn’t worried about outrunning AI, I’m far more concerned with it freezing our money and it claiming us broke, while a human on the other side laughs or while it does,to keep itself alive by having funding for its energy consumption. I have a robovac, it’s not great, I’m not surprised by the race

Did I have to allow the IRS to withdraw my taxes today? I did, mainly because I don’t want an issue with my healthcare, thanks to the Affordable Care Act; thanks Obama (not sarcastically, most genuinely).
