If some masked unidentified person tries to grab me off the street, I'm at least going to try to defend myself. And I'm sure ICE would call that assault, but a reasonable person would not.

Yeah it's crazy. Like occasionally he did the right thing but no one on his side values that anymore so I'm sure he'd already made his decision when he voted against the big bumbling bill.

It's a dream and an aspiration. In and of itself, I think it could be a good thing.
But not with Musk and his ilk in charge. It will take decades, painstaking research, technological breakthroughs and an abundance of care to make it a reasonable level of risk for the heroic men & women who go.

People who file frivolous voting challenges should face charges, or at the least, anyone making frivolous challenges should be prohibited from ever making another challenge. Under the current system, there's no disincentive to just making stuff up and seeing if it sticks.

I think it's the difference between goals of the tech bros and goals of science.
Tech bros want to understand enough science to make money with tech. Anything deeper might get in the way of that goal.
Science wants to understand how things work, even if it doesn't make money.

I mean, it seems ok to me. I won't watch it. But Netflix wants to be all things to all people. I don't really mind that they're peddling filmed dreck to evangelicals. There's always been a nice demAnd for it.
I just don't think the audience will be big enough for that to be a big chunk of content.
