What would being a guest on If Men Can't Listen To look like? Pretty much anything you'd like it to. My role as host is to be a surrogate listener for an audience that needs to understand your perspective.

As such: 1. Anonymity is optional to whatever extent a guest would like, including voice modulation if needed. 2. Guests can name the episode if they’d like. 3. Guests have full, no questions asked control over whatever they want edited out of the episode or if the episode airs. 4. There is no expectation or requirement to be nice, only to speak your truth. As host my role is minimalist, only to help the conversation along and participate in your conversation; you will not be debated or argued with unless that’s specifically and explicitly what you would like me to do. With 1 in 3 women statistically being subject to DV or SA and nearly all women, LGBTQ+ people, and minority groups subject to societal, professional, ageism, and life barriers there are about 5.5 billion potential guests with their own unique perspectives welcomed. If you want that perspective heard, please let me know. A photo of sky and mountains in the background, overlayed with the text: Someone with a handful of friends is just as valid for this project, if not more valid, than someone with millions of followers. The kind of perspectives that If Men Can’t Listen To intends to share are close to home. If men (and anyone else) hear voices similar to the people in their lives, it helps attach these perspectives to real people, not just ideas of certain types of people. The “othering” needs to be undone, this can be accomplished by attaching perspectives to people in a way that makes them undeniably human and difficult to dispose of.

Seriously - what are they protecting themselves from instead of protecting women and children?
This systematic avoidance of consequences for the consent-challenged monsters - especially the ones that prey on children - is indicative of a government and legal system that's terrified that they themselves one day might be prosecuted for these crimes. If they're not planning on violating women and children, then what are they afraid of? Government and legal officials need to step up and show us they're not one of the offenders. Until then, their complicity denotes membership amongst the ranks of these monsters. PS: I'm also going to throw Meta into that equation until simply discussing the 4 letter R word doesn't get people yeeted off the algorithm.
