We also offer sympathy for the loss of President Russell Nelson, the president and leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, compounding the experience of grief.

The comfort that we offer seems to pale as we witness the pain and devastation felt by the congregation directly impacted by the shooting and fire that caused the lives of loved ones to be taken. The Word of God instructs us to “…do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.”
