In fact, I’d argue that overcoming these challenges makes Black women even better #physicians:

I'd argue that Black women in #medicine often face more barriers throughout their #education, residency, and #fellowship —not because of a lack of ability, but because some peers, faculty, and even patients may assume incompetence, subjecting Black women to undue scrutiny.

3) Instead, I strive to #lead with #kindness and #understanding always—no matter how challenging or trying the situation may be.
