In case you aren't familiar with the story of Bondi shooting hero, Ahmed Al Ahmed,
None of what Grok says is factual.

Tried to get the young one to watch Gallipoli for ANZAC day.
Wasn't interested because they didn't want a sad ending.
Maybe I should try Rogue One today ...

My much loved 4th edition of The Twilight Zone companion.
Amazing that the binding still holds after all these decades.
Invaluable resource in the pre internet days, and still the best TZ reference I have found

Still sad about the passing of Tom Robbins.
There was a time in the late 80s where he was very popular with folks I knew

Still sad about the passing of one of the great artists of our time.
I never got to see him talk, I think he only did one public appearance in Australia, in Brisbane.
There is some solice in owning one of only three trading cards he signed

An excellent read over the holidays.
Of course, it just makes me want to watch the films again.
I'd love to see an update, which includes the TV series

Went to the Australian Film and Sound archive in Canberra today.

Not a big exhibition, one room really, but so much treasure.

Drom Aunty Jack, here is Thin Arthur's hat, Aunty Jacks golden glove, dress and footy socks, and a prop meat guitar used by Kev Kavanah
