fine but, as you know automation took those tasks not as a matter of destruction but evolving capabilities, along with customer acceptance. Early jet aviation had a navigator, engineer and two pilots up front. Would you be happy with one pilot, or maybe none?

the technology is available. Pilot union objections are in respect of privacy (an issue with voice recordings too). High resolution cameras can be both a Human Factors recorder and monitor aircraft instruments.
