Leave the Leaves! If you can instead of bagging up your leaves this year consider moving them into beds, a corner of your garden or under trees. Leaves act as a free, eco-friendly fertilizer adding nitrogen and amending the soil for greener lawns in the spring.

Update on Tiny Forest project - Excavation of 20 X 20 plot with added soil amendments (Top soil, leaf compost and Espoma biotone) and first tree planting Thursday 11/14. Second planting scheduled for early spring. Total # trees/ shrubs - 120. #landstewardship
