Last month the voters of Brattleboro, Vermont elected me to the selectboard, the 5-person municipal governing body. The first challenge we've been tackling is the last selectboard's budget that our Representative Town Meeting rejected.

Since my organization actioncorps.org released this statement earlier this week, the U.S. has bombed several cities in Yemen. Congress never authorized these, so the White House is violating the first article of the U.S. Constitution. Some of these airstrikes also look an awful lot like war crimes.

Good connecting with folks today at Mountain Home Trailer Park. Appreciate Liz here who introduced me to her neighbors. As I knock on doors across town I keep hearing residents agree: Brattleboro should offer shelter to our unhoused neighbors. Good hearing that in the trailer park today.
