I think the Final Boss from Magalor's Epilogue and the 100% reward are linked (especially from the Apple Pie reference). Seems like another link for the increasingly common "Nature vs Technology" theme Kirby has been going for

In a recent video youtuber Arlo talks about Mario Kart World again. Being extrinsically motivated he says all the activities in free roaming are pointless and therefore there is nothing to do. He concludes that just driving around an open space is not a game. But we have to ask ourselves – why not?
