I can finally post ze #marcanne #amphibia pocky comic... life is good..
A comic about Anne Boonchuy and Marcy Wu from Amphibia. An arrangement of polaroids is pinned to a corkboard with "+1 Anne" written on two of them, "+1 Marcy" written on another two, and a middle frame with "+1 Anne +1 Marcy", with both of their names crossed out resulting in a draw, implying they've been having a friendly competition. Marcy is opening a cabinet in the kitchen, a speech bubble above her head says "I still say you started coughing first." "Dude, NNOOO WAY!" says Anne, who is relaxed on a couch. "You hacked up those marshmallows life your life depended on it." Marcy is reaching into the cabinet for something. "Fiine, we could call it a tie for now. Wai- I still have Pocky!" The second panel has her with star eyes and the word POG above her. She closes the cabinet after grabbing the Pocky. "Aww.. just got one left, do you want it?" "Or, better idea, you ever played the Pocky game before?" replies Anne, looking a little confident. "What, you want that to be the tiebreaker?" Marcy strides into the living room with the Pocky between her fingers. Anne is facing her, still on the couch, thinking. "Was that too forward? Too dorky?" Marcy speaks up again, "Alright! You're on! This one's for all the marbles." The last two panels has them looking at each other. Marcy looking down at Anne, and Anne looking up at Marcy. Marcy, one end of the Pocky already in her mouth, cradles the side of Anne's face while quirking an eyebrow. Anne is looking away blushing while the text UUUHHH sits behind them. Marcy turns Anne's face so she can place the Pocky in her mouth. Anne's thoughts between the panels are"Um... UHH... what's going on... I..." Anne brings her hand up, a little stunned. As Marcy gets closer to her, she uses the hand that was previously grabbing Anne's face and grabs Anne's hand with her own, interlacing their fingers. She turns Anne's hand around and pulls her closer. Anne thinks, "Is this really happening?" as the lower two panels show her heart beating quicker, with "BADUM" onomatopoeia floating around as Marcy uses her other hand to hold Anne's chin. The final panel shows them about to kiss, with Anne biting down on the Pocky using her teeth.
