Agreed, and I've been skeptical about it seeing some of the casting. But that trailer kinda sold me, It looks like dumb fun. The overall vibe of the trailer, the song choice(JVB rules), the kinda goofy but accurate aesthetics. It all makes it feel like making a fun SF film was the goal.

Also, I'm generally against big celebrity hires for games over full time VA's, but CD Projekt Red use Keanu Reeves and Idris Elba really fuckin' well. They got celebs that have a distinct voice and presence and gave them a director that cares and it worked out pretty fuckin' good. Props to em all!

This seems as good a place as any to give a nod to Cyberpunk Edgerunners.
A fantastic,compact series. In 10 episodes, it runs you through many emotions. Hell of a show, hurts pretty good, would recommend.

I feel like the Natlan criticism is overblown. For sure it would be nice if hoyo were better about diversity and representation, but Natlan's about on par with Sumeru. Also Varesa was never advertised as a plus size character. She's a student of the fitness coach from the tribe all about strength.
