We need to move away from food systems which encourage overconsumption and overproduction, says IDS researcher Lidia Cabral from @foodequitycentre.bsky.social

As citizens, how can we reassess our relationship with food to help achieve this change?

Food systems are unfair, often built on legacies of colonialism. We need improved policies to support people marginalised in food systems, especially those working in fields, factories & hospitality.

@deewoods.bsky.social explains how food systems can be changed.

We've been working with @policyatkings.bsky.social to show the government how lessons from Brazil, Canada and elsewhere offer valuable insights
