In Sudan’s El Fasher, the RSF has killed thousands in days and 11 journalists have disappeared under a total blackout. Reporter Muammar Ibrahim was abducted on camera for documenting the war. This is a continent-wide assault on press freedom — met with deafening silence from Europe and the US.

A Libyan presidential hopeful Abdelhakim Baayo — first to register for Libya’s 2021 election — is accused of squandering sovereign wealth fund money while running a Spanish subsidiary. Auditors say he funneled €164k of company funds into a Madrid apartment now worth €750k. Baayo denies everything.

🌍 Africa is no longer just at the table — it’s setting the agenda. From the heart of the #G20 Summit in South Africa, the continent is stepping up and making its voice heard loud and clear. The era of “watching” is over — the era of leading has begun. 🇿🇦💪 #AfricaRising #GlobalSouth

Tragedy in Sudan remains in the West invisible despite its horrific scale. It must be said clearly: the EU spent years supporting the RSF – providing funding, training, and equipment to units that grew out of the Janjaweed militias. Today’s mess is partly a European responsibility!!!

In January 2025, a 177-carat diamond vanished in the Central African Republic. With Russia, Wagner’s grip on mines, Rwanda’s shadow networks, and complicit elites are turning CAR’s mineral wealth into a crime scene. Until governance beats predation, resources will keep disappearing. #Africa #CAR

South Sudan’s finances are bleeding while elites thrive. 🛩️💰

Parliament slashed peace funds to buy a presidential jet & give MPs $50k health perks — even as $1.4 billion in contracts went to firms tied to 3 businessmen close to President Kiir.

The future of climate action is African.

While others stall, African nations are turning sun and wind into power, jobs, and sovereignty.

The world’s energy transition runs through Lagos, Nairobi & Cairo — not Washington.

Al-Qaeda–linked jihadists (JNIM) now control most rural areas and are choking off fuel supplies to Bamako.
A state collapse in Mali would open a new jihadist stronghold across the Sahel — from Burkina Faso to Senegal — with grave consequences for West Africa and Europe.

As Sudan bleeds, its gold shines in Dubai and Geneva.
👉 90% of Sudan’s official gold exports go to the UAE.
👉 That gold often funds the RSF — accused of war crimes and ethnic massacres in Darfur.
👉 Switzerland imports record amounts of UAE gold — with uncertain origin.
