I’m not done but 9 episodes in and Once More With Feeling can not save this show so far

Season 6 is so bad y’all. I can’t believe this season of Buffy is successful at two things and they’re convincing me that Spike and Willow suck #buffy #btvs

Season 5 finished….. this show is so wild I feel like they def ended it here and I have no idea what the heck season 6 could be

scientifically analyzing why dubs are better than subs purely on intention of a scene is so good but also Japanese Bojack is so funny

Eric Kripke and Mike Flannigan to name a few but we don’t get their works if we didn’t have Buffy and X-Files.

watching Buffy for the first time this year definitely made me look at a lot tv now & wish they had the same quality & energy BUT mostly I wish for the timeline where wheadon wasnt awful

I think in his heyday this was probably not the case, mostly because he brought a lot of freshness to modern tv which wasn’t as emphasized by other shows at the time. That being said, right now I think of a lot directors that have same modern and lively dialogue and direction but do it way better

Wow yeah looked it up and Marsters seemed really bummed at how much Wheadon hated him for just being a cool guy

I spent this plot line finally seeing the whedon we know in the future in this show and it really bummed me out

Honestly I thought it would be left to just to early seasons Xander but even he got a lot better to watch in this season, so I guess Spike is the one we’re fucking up

So was anyone who mentioning to me that Buffy and Spike got together ever also going to mention that Spike made a BUFFY SEX BOT THAT HE ACTUALLY HAS A RELATIONSHIP WITH AND REGULARLY FUCKS AFTER SHE REJECTS HIM

Saying all the right things, comforting Buffy as she needs, god 3 mins of them is immediately better than every other romantic moment in the last 2 seasons omg

AND ANGEL COMES TO MAKE ME FEEL BETTER THE KING ARRIVES AS HE SHOULD

When she and Tara are sitting alone in the hospital & she tells TARA that she’s sorry that TARA has to deal with all this??

God Buffy is so sweet and kind and her being worried about someone else in this situation wrecked me

Anya’s little monologue finally broke me, the innocence in the sadness of losing someone was wild.

Buffy, herself, not knowing “where she is” and Tara telling her how you’ll have so many weird thoughts, some of which will make you feel like a terrible person, is so insanely real. Damn man….

Buffy picking Dawn up from school is almost like beat for beat how my brother picked me up from school, I genuinely had flashbacks watching it…. The only difference being that he didn’t tell me *at* school and looking back on it, I’m glad for that.

This episode about Joyce is fucking me up holy shit this is an incredible depiction of what it’s like to be there on a day someone close to you dies…. I have literally gone through some of these steps when my dad passed

The satisfaction of managing stats and seeing a job well done while also seeing funny superhero names as a comics fan is rarely matched for me
