It is just common sense...if doctors/dentists wear them...they do it for a good reason. I don't understand why Americans are so damned opposed to caring about others!!

I'm a dentist, I've worn a mask for decades in the office and I've never had the flu or a cold. I guess they actually are effective. Science is not a liberal conspiracy.

I told several people several times that they could not enter an elevator in hospital for this reason when with my late father. "Sorry you need to wait for the next one, infectious disease control, don't want anyone to catch anything".
Which isn't a lie, which pleased my pappa.

I still encounter people who laugh at the polite suggestion they should wash their hands after using the toilet. So unfortunate when contrarianism is mistaken for courage.

I miss the mask mandate. The grandkids never came home sick. We are back to one of our 7 grandkids coming home sick from school every at least once a month.

This is such a logical outcome too. Of course masking works! Episodes of common flu and colds in the public went way down too, when people were masking and/or isolating. Choices have to be made. Are we willing to pay the price of not protecting each other from transfer of respiratory illness?
