Had an endoscopy this morning! Maybe I'll finally get some answers about all the gastro upset and ulcer problems as of late.

I want to run an old-school AD&D 2nd edition game.
With plenty of tweaks and home-brew, sure, but that was the D&D of my youth, and I never got to play it at an actual table! The style and -mood- of the game is so different from the modern versions.

It's weird how difficult it is to find a draconic avatar base I'm happy with for VRChat. Velos is a simple creature design-wise. Lithe, slender muzzle, no spines/spikes/fins/frills/fur, just smooth horns and the ears. Yet every base is encrusted with STUFF, or super-muscled, or toony like a fursuit.

Browsing my AD archive from the old site reminds me how much I miss that sort of free and open teasing!
I'm a terribly shy, reserved creature most of the time, but I don't WANT to be. It's very nice having spaces where my brain will let me relax into such playful behavior.

Much as I've enjoyed running around as the little kobold guy in VRChat... maybe instead of fixing him, it's finally time to find a modern base and get an avatar that's more "me".
But that's so difficult to accept, because Velos is not and has never been anthro or bipedal!

Whrrrf. Going back into Blender after 4+ years away is almost no different than starting from scratch! I learned this before, and the UI revamp is supposed to be an improvement, so I can learn it again? Surely. o_o

The SydNYE fireworks display continues to be SO COOL. No other new year's show even comes close!

Played Terraforming Mars with friends last night, and it's so much nicer with the 3d-printed organizer! No bags or sorting, just unpack and go. No bumped player mats, frames keep all the cubes where they belong.

Gaaah, all that measuring and fussing and adjusting, but these 3d prints are *all* < 1mm too large in a single dimension! >_<
That's what I get for not doing a small test-print first. Maybe I can sand them all down on one edge...
