Like, you’re only ever communicating the merits of your table. I have non-osr gamers play in my games (when I am running them), and they keeping playing! And I’m not running OSR the way luminaries like Gus or Ben or Yochai do, and they don’t play the same way. It’s your table, the game just helps.

Ask! It would be so cool to get a third opinion off the same book!!! Honestly, I struggle with most solo games too, but this one — phwaor 😰

Oh, you want me to comment on the discourse? Ppl are allowed preferences, so it’s fine that Quinns, Gillen et al have different ones. It’s hard to explain why you have a preference without dunking on other ppl, which is why, rather than write an article, I’ve written many hundreds. Fin.

Ugh. If that’s the case, it’s definitely verging on pointless. I’ll delete this post.

If so, yeah it doesn’t, and the value proposition isn’t good at all. They did talk about “tools and integrate with shipping partners in the future”, which lead me to the assumption they’d be warehousing as well as storefront.

I assumed “which allows RPG publishers to fulfill their orders and ship books, as well as other physical items, from their own warehouses” refers to Drivethrus warehouses, but I might have misunderstood? If not, yeah, the proposition is much weaker.
