They are more likely to migrate in from evil in my experience, I don't think they will just turn due to exposure but I swear one of my starters ended up a vampire but how that happened idk

See this is actually great, if one of your dwarfs becomes a vampire or migrates in from the evil biome, seal them in a room with not exit, a table, and chair so they can do your forts books eternally
