oh yeah this reminded me i have been meaning to try out nix, currently i just use arch because it's what i started with and i fear it'd take AGES to reconfigure everything on a new distro

if it's not obvious already, i'm trans, and it's unbelievable how badly i relate to aster, i was completely adoring of every little thing about charmside too, but what's tragic is nothing like that could ever exist here in the real world.. regardless, it's a comforting idea. thank you :3

i recently stumbled upon ckc and i cannot stress enough how beautiful and touching the entire concept of charmside is. i can't stop thinking about it. a place seemingly dedicated to truly embracing yourself, to the point of physically manifesting your heart's desires. it's heartbreakingly alluring.

see linux mint if you want something easy.
also look for FOSS alternatives (e.g. gimp instead photoshop, libreoffice instead of microsoft365, etc..)
