Why was Bowser just. Walkin into peach’s castle unannounced. Feels like this is more on him.

I felt real clever when I said that until I realized that is usually what he does in the games yeah.

(Relatively) Realistically, some sort of legislative action forces Disney to give the rights to their work back to all their artists.

How did I miss that. I love it.

Ok what’s the pun what am I missing

It’d be perfectly reasonable not to notice. It was in a corner nobody looked at and it’s easy to think an ai generated thing is real if you’re not checking. Anyway that’s all moot cause now a dev has said that they definitely did use ai but I don’t think it was out of the question.

iirc at some point in the past half of all humanity was merged with all the livestock, animals, etc.
December 15, 2025 at 10:19 PM
I’m getting a lot of conflicting information about this, cause there’s a another article claiming the devs are all staunchly against ai, and members of the cast have condemned works for using ai in the past. But on the other hand if that’s true this is a fucking insane thing to say.
December 14, 2025 at 5:42 PM
Totally fair. I tend to assume the best in people, but considering these are former Ubisoft devs…
December 12, 2025 at 2:40 PM
tbh this feels more like “when we grabbed 1000 stock assets from that library one of them was ai” rather than “John left one of our ai assets in the game” but who knows. The lack of a comment from the devs is suspicious but at the same time you’d think there’d be more of a cover-up if it wasn’t once
December 12, 2025 at 2:37 PM
From what I can tell(haven’t played the game) it was one background asset that it’s very possible nobody on the team noticed was so when they were grabbing stock assets. Still not ideal.

Adore this

Spent a solid 10 seconds trying to figure out why Samus had a backwards clown shoe with heels. I may be stupid.

Generally I’d like to give people the benefit of the doubt when possible. I can definitely believe some dev going “oh, need a newspaper asset here”, googling “newspaper”, taking the first image that comes up, and never checking it all that closely cause it’s in the background and will be replaced.

I’ve not played the game, but this reads to me as something they genuinely just didn’t notice? It’s a huge game, if they were downloading tons of stock assets as placeholders it’s very possible some of that was ai generated (as in, not generated by the dev team) and didn’t get caught.

I like how the worst prompt is “in [your] opinion” but the best prompt is clearly objective.

If I had a nickel for every Nintendo franchise abbreviated PKMN about having a bunch of little guys fight for you in a vaguely sci-fi world I’d have two nickels.

Love how you swap out the genitals on some characters between pics.

Super effective hits don’t simply deal more damage, but inflict unique statuses based on the interaction. For example, fire types are “extinguished” and have their attack lowered by water or air. Ground types get “seeded” by plant types and get a leech seed-like effect.

How tied are you to it being Pokémon specifically? Cause if you just want a creature collector then I cannot recommend Cassette Beasts enough. Types are definitely still A Thing, but they’re much less centralized and the interactions are more complex.
