"How long have you been having nightmares?" and finally, Viktor looks up. Jayce startles under his gaze. His eyes look wild, panicked, hair messy and uncombed. He wears nothing but his old pants, chest heavy with milk. He rubs his bump over and over, and Viktor watches the movement carefully. Looking for ways to dissect it. Jayce looks down at the floor before he answers. "Since before." "Before what?" Jayce winces, rubs his belly again, and Viktor realizes the gravity of the situation. He knew Jayce was unwell.
