Class actions have already been weakened by this court. If you’re successful they’ll quickly restrict them even further. We should find no comfort in this decision. It’s a devastating blow to democracy.

Criticizing Justice Jackson for her alleged support of an Imperial judiciary is very rich coming from an author of the newly-created rights of an imperial executive.
A nation-wide injunction against clearly unconstitutional orders is indeed a powerful act but is what the constitution demands!

I totally agree but this happened ten years ago when citizens united came down. History will fault us for being so passive.

Everyone needs to see what’s coming. The President will place strict restrictions on who can vote and this court will bless those restrictions. 2028 will not be the salvation we hoped it would be.

At what point could a court lose it’s legitimacy? We’re long past that point.

For many years conservative justices have empowered bad acts and bad actors that ultimately would turn on them too. You’d think they’d be smart enough to see that coming? All those decisions protecting Trump undermined their legitimacy. Now they’re shocked to find the right doesn’t respect them

Tell them they can have winner take all if you change to ranked choice voting. They won’t.

This is more than Democrats can do. We voted democratic because they are responsible. I’m not surprised to find they can’t be radicals. This is up to us.

A lot of people have been voting Republican for 40 years despite the fact they pursue policies that hurt them. This would have happened a long time ago but Democrats have been stopping them. They haven’t gotten the thanks they deserve.

That’s s lie Republicans have been telling for 20 years. There’s an easy fix for that. Democrats will make the fix while raising taxes on Billionaires.

Beto, we need you to lead the resistance now. We cannot just stand by and let him destroy the most competent civil service in world history. We cannot wait for midterms. The NIH leads the world in organizing and funding the most advanced medical research. We have to save that or many will die.

That is true. Everything he’s doing directly benefits Putin but weakens us. Why would we dismantle our intelligence and defense. They’ve ended every program we had that protected us from Russian influence. Why would that be a priority?
