As for the fraction, it is normal for stuff like this, at this point in the operation you devide the left side from the right, because you can't devide 3 by 6 you compromise by making a fraction 3/6 or simplified to 1/2

One thing you didn't mention that I would like to add is the x and 6 getting swapped, you want the variable (x) on one side of the operation and non variable numbers on the. Other side (the side referring to which side of the = they are on)
