I sell AI at one of those multi-trillion dollar Megacorps so that I can afford a lavish life-style of debauched sexual hedonism and bibliophilia.

I also tame Crows.
Depending on the audio book, having Alexei play you @aptshadow.bsky.social could get you in a lot of trouble here.

All humor aside though. I work in big tech and if you lot don't move over to Linux and other open source ASAP you're all fucking cooked. Nexus by Yuval Noah Harari is a solid read.

Kim will likely extensively purge them to avoid them forming a new internal power-block. It's the only sensible option from his point of view most likely.

Probably after he transfers some knowledge though.

A bunch of war veterans with actual war experience returning to North Korea eventually.

I'm sure that couldn't possibly end in game theory shenanigans.

Good! This war is a unique chance to also fight Ukranian corruption. It is very hard to make strides against corruption without a compelling and unifying event. This war is such an event. Two birds, one stone.
November 15, 2025 at 7:02 PM
No it isn't. Not at all. This is the nature of corruption. If we are to help Ukraine we must fight a war both against Russia AND it's internal corruption. The corruption one is likely the harder one.

I was just testing Minimax M2 (which appears to be basically a highly efficient pirate copy of Sonnet from Anthropic). It is. Insanely good.

You really don't need local though. Models like Minimax M2 and Gemini Flash 2.5 will run synthetic personas in the cloud with fuck all guardrails

Look at that bridge. That'll make for a fantastic reef some day. Lots of little spaces for the oceanic eco-system to thrive in.

Reading this shit makes me hate the fact that I still have a scrap of morals. I'd be such a good propagandist with my context engineering skills 😭

He's going to kill/get a bunch of people killed via military action. Though the Republicans are already cracking. I predict full on civil war within the party by Q2 next year.

Some times I have to stop myself from arguing that no, AI isn't a bubble. Because I forget that 90% of the AI stuff people are exposed to is complete bullshit and not the stuff I do every day.

AI is in conclusion, Schrödinger's bubble

I fucking love the Super Tucano.

There I was. Plodding along thinking I wasn't ever going to find a better Sci-Fi author than Heinlein and this book smacked me in the face like a brick wall.

Anyone claiming there isn't a huge corruption issue in Ukraine is a fool. Rooting this out is absolutely key to Ukraine's long term success and victory in the war. Corruption is a root of a majority of evils in society and getting it sorted will be a long, tough process.

This would easily be the second most beautiful book in my collection. if I had the space for it in my currently nomadic life.

Journalists engagement baiting. That's what this is and you all need to stop going gaga over it.

Even if I wholeheartedly assume his motivations are selfish, misguided and greedy. This will be genuinely good for America.

Trust me, I come from a place where we have multiple options. You won't believe how it checks power, it's something you just gotta taste to believe.

Many years ago I said that Musk was proof that even a complete asshole could be a net benefit to the world, no matter how unlikable.

I haven't said that for a while....but here we are again. The U.S genuinely needs more than two parties. This broken clock is right more than twice a day.
July 6, 2025 at 9:19 AM
But truth is that most of the U.S lives on charity fumes and are third world without realizing it. The only reason they have shit is because they serve the world economy as credit sponges.
June 28, 2025 at 1:16 PM
Appears to me to be the equivalent of a spoiled third generation heir who hasn't realized their inheritance ran out.

Meanwhile the rest of the world has taken over what made them rich to begin with.

Of course, if you include billionaires in the average. It'll look nice.
June 28, 2025 at 1:16 PM
I will never understand the appeal of this. I assume the audience..mostly know it's fake, and enjoy it despite of it. The South Park parody at least had some entertainment value but whenever I actually see this....

The average American citizen

It's a bleak day for the DDLG community.

You must respect his authoritah.

Low interest debt on value accruing assets is not a trap. It's how the rich get richer. My home loan is making me an absolute mint year on year.

There's a great book called The price of time if you want to dig into the good and bad of debt and interest
June 24, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Not all debt is created equal. Low interest debt that adds to your net worth. Like a good rate on a property loan, is good.

As for mental health and work, it's a balancing act depending on where you start.

On the rest, entirely agree.

It's really, really sad that this video will probably convince more Americans than most other information they'd see...oh well. Let's all spread it.
