Well then, according to the current mainstream right, you're a commie. Anything left of far right is either RINO, or commie.

Trump as a narcissist can’t tolerate anyone who would actually challenge him for dominance. Right now he’s content to let Elon take a wrecking ball to government but the “President Elon” stuff will push him over the edge eventually.

I’d argue both Musk and Trump are useful idiots to Putin, but Elon is like one of the kleptocrats in Russia. As soon as he’s inconvenient for Trump, he’s going over a railing.

I think he’s definitely getting a lot out of it, but he doesn’t have the cult following that Trump has. When it comes time for public blame, he’s going to be the one to get it.

Trump: “Elon Musk? Never heard of him.”

Because we’re sick of ads everywhere all the time. Once you go ad free you realize how god awful they are.

I mean, he absolutely wants to be the first trillionaire, right?

I really wanna get a T-shirt with this image of him that says, “I love my idiot son!”

So i came up with all of that and hit college right when the internet really started to take off. I had the Windows 95 beta, I remember Google in beta replacing Webcrawle, etc. It’s just a different world than came before and came after. Being a bridge generation, I think, helps me speak to both

I’m a Xennial, or like Nate Bargatze recently did a bit on, “The Nothing Generation.” Analog childhood / digital adulthood, so in the early to mid 80s I was fortunate enough to have an Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, came to Nintendo a bit late but had an Intel 286 PC followed by a 486 DX2-66 w/14.4k modem

I try to assume that people are generally coming from a place of ignorance rather than malice, at least on here, but I appreciate the assist, nevertheless.

You’ve got to think of video games like any other entertainment medium. Just like there’s trash / pulp books and movies, it’s the same with games. There’s “beep boops” and then there’s “Here is the true human cost of revenge” or “Here is the civilian experience during war.” There’s poignant stuff.

I’ve got a bachelor’s in English Literature, so maybe it’s possible to enjoy both? Maybe just because something doesn’t appeal to you in particular, it doesn’t give you the moral high ground to judge others.

Sure, sometimes, but not always, which is why you see The Last of Us turned into an award winning television show. The story beats were already there, and its sequel was one of the most brutal and emotionally exhausting stories I have ever experienced. I don’t think “mindless” gets you there.

Ah, it's the old duck and jive. Hard to lose in court if you just withdraw the order to make the whole thing moot.

Part of me feels like Righteous Gemstones is the Magnum Opus and you can’t possibly top that perfection.

Same, on the 18th. Why? Why did we turn 46? What kind of B.S. is that?
