Billionaires are abandoning the Earth and its people to the climate disaster without so much as a fight, building luxury doomsday bunkers, and making plans to colonize Mars. So the billionaire thinks there's no hope for the Earth to preserve "the light of consciousness"? Of course not.

If a self-identifying conservative believes that blatant unfairness will give their team a win, if they can get away with it, there is a strong chance that will feel morally justified in cheating (even obligated with a bit of peer-pressure). That, in a nutshell, is the conservative value system.

I'm sure that pro-fascist neoliberal Dem apologists commenting to blame the Dem voter gap between Harris and Mamdani on misogyny and attempt to deflect any intimation that her foreign policy in re: Israel had anything to do with it will be along shortly.
November 7, 2025 at 8:31 PM
Be this enthusiastic about the primaries, please. We can't afford these AIPAC-owned Dems. If they'll take money to support a foreign fascist regime, they'll take money to support a domestic fascist regime.

If that compromise involves allowing ICE to retain that ridiculous budget, that it's not worth pursuing. I want to see everyone able to get food and healthcare, too, but if ICE gets that money, it will end any hope left for democracy in this nation.

This really points up the political incompetence of this administration, doesn't it? The Republicans were expecting preferential treatment for their states. They wanted to punish blue states, but all they know how to do is punish the poor and that means the red states are faring worse, not better.

US politics has ceased to be about campaigns. People are voting for survival. We are voting AGAINST the Republican existential threat. Dems are winning because that's how to make Republicans lose. If we'd had other viable alternatives, campaigns might have mattered.

It seems to me that consensus on sources of truth and information dissolved first. It was not a result of the decline, it was a cause.
November 6, 2025 at 11:45 PM
The old guard of Dem leadership is useless right now. Worse than useless, actually, since they seem to be more afraid of any leftward movement within their own party than the fascist MAGA threat. And, face it, every Dem taking AIPAC money (i.e most of them) is at least fascism-tolerant. Bad sign.
November 6, 2025 at 11:38 PM
Good. Trump's DOJ is just going after his own enemies anyway, right? Why would we want them to get funding? In any case, reopening the government should be contingent on disbanding ICE. Under no circumstances should they receive any of the funding allocated to them.
November 6, 2025 at 10:54 PM
This opens the door to a lot of challenges to the Dem establishment that believes it's more important to support a genocidal right-wing extremist regime's campaign of ethnic cleansing and expansionism than to win the election. It's time to primary the Dems who are slow-walking us into fascism.
November 5, 2025 at 4:41 AM
Dem leadership decided they'd rather continue to support a genocidal right-wing extremist regime's campaign of ethnic cleansing and expansionism than win in 2024. It's their own damn fault.
November 5, 2025 at 4:30 AM
The push to vote in the Dem primaries should start now! No more of the "no matter who" crap! Who matters!

Topping the list: Candidates that won't accept money from AIPAC!
November 5, 2025 at 4:10 AM
It's disappointing how the Dems have fallen since the neoliberal takeover of the party. They've been baiting the two-party deathtrap ever since, playing up the fact the GOP represents an existential threat and banking on voters survival instincts to win instead of listening to their constituents.
November 4, 2025 at 9:15 PM
Is Dem leadership still backing even the most corrupt seated Dem politicians over any challengers from the left?
November 4, 2025 at 9:08 PM
Seriously? WHY??? The moment ICE gets the funding they are budgeted for, it will be open season on seated Dem politicians. Woe unto any Dem politicians that have not realized that! Voting to fund this regime is voting to end their own relevance in US politics, and possibly their lives, as well.
November 4, 2025 at 8:57 PM
Panic much? The thought that anti-Mamdani Dems are "the adults in the room" is absolutely laughable. This stuff clearly comes from the "slow walk the US into fascism" faction of the Dems. Next they'll be claiming that only Dems that take AIPAC money are worthy of our votes.
November 4, 2025 at 8:50 PM
This needs to happen, but I really hope folks will be paying attention and getting out the vote for the Dem primaries next year. The moment this election is over, billionaire's will try to buy every Dem primary race in Cali. If they're successful, all this will have been for nothing.
November 4, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Listen to him or don't. Makes no difference. But, whether you care or not, he was right. The Dems shouldn't have run a candidate that would pledge to continue supporting a genocidal right-wing extremist regimes campaign of ethnic cleansing and expansion. Big mistake.
November 3, 2025 at 4:20 PM
Well, it was always their brick, so no loss there... assuming your data was backed up.

Graham knows that billionaires will pick up the tab and continue to pay Republicans (because bribery is legal now, apparently, according to SCOTUS), and only Democratic politicians will have to go without.

If the school provided it, shouldn't their IT department be dealing with this issue? Why must you be responsible for maintaining a piece of equipment that is ostensibly theirs?
