Spending some more time with it tonight, it seems like the freeze occurs when you hit a button prompt during dispatch sections before the dialogue completes.
If you do, the next dialogue won't trigger and your forced to reload the most recent autosave.
Other than that, it ran well.

It's super cool, but has been soft locking pretty consistently for me on the steam deck. Gonna give it a bit to see if there's a patch.

Yeah I think that's likely how SD would do it.
Other thoughts I had were a location locking Hawk (on reveal, no location can change next turn) or a location fixing Elixir (on reveal change back a location that changed this/last turn).
Probably not strong enough in most metas, but it'd something.

I eventually switched Esme back to Rogue in Negative. Esme can high roll for sure, but it often felt clunky drawing a 3 cost into good hands and like not enough to save bad hands.
The Merlin + Storm this season does have me considering Esme for Magik. But Magik still does a lot in other matchups.

I eventually switched Esme back to Rogue in Negative. Esme can high roll for sure, but it often felt clunky drawing a 3 cost into good hands and like not enough to save bad hands.

Yeah, there was definitely some luck with the opponent: key cards came out early and gave me plenty of time to react.
And I won one where I played out everything on 6 anticipating the Reality Stone on Limbo only for it not to come.

Fair. But then the question should be two instead of three, since I still see decks running Ravonna, Psylocke AND Magik.

Oh, another reason to get the packs would be if you regret missing a recent card and would rather "gamble" on it than get the newer card.

Think the idea is you could spend the 6000 tokens still for the specific releases (i.e. still ~two cards a month if you're getting 4 keys).
You'd only be buying the packs for specific cards if you have everything and would be getting the unspecified pack discount.
