This is DJT’s tariff calculation. Most grade schoolers have a higher level of sophistication than this. The S&P 500 is down 700 points from recent highs. He’ll eventually reverse these and markets will bounce. It is market manipulation on a scale never before seen but he’s also dismantling the SEC 🤦‍♂️

It’s nice to see Danielle Smith out there hitting the campaign trail hard and supporting Mark Carney

When you look at the global map from this orientation, it really does make a ton of sense (I’m aware the legend on this map is not factual but it’s good enough to get the point)

I think Canada holds closer to $330billion but yeah, adopting the Euro would be a great move

This is a metric called 'Vote Efficiency'. Basically, the number of votes each party has to get in order to win a seat. I'm comparing the Netherlands (they use Open Party List PR) with yesterdays Ontario election result. Red line is optimal votes/seat. The difference is staggering. #onpoli #ontario

The results of this election are depressing to look at. #onpoli #ontario

Don't let Doug Ford tell you he won a 'strong mandate'. He won a majority government with 43% of the popular vote through a form of voter suppression. This country needs electoral reform badly.

This is the ‘failed’ Canadian healthcare US Republicans and Canadian far-right wingnuts like to talk about 🙄 😏

The Loosemore-Hanby index measures proportionality of elections. The last Ontario election was the least proportional in recent history. The Conservative government of Ontario was able to secure a majority government with only 18% of the eligible vote. We need electoral reform NOW.

It's not that. It's our flawed electoral system. The liberal party received almost 24% of the popular vote in the last election and only won 7 seats. They don’t even have official party status with 24% of the vote. That's crazy.
