👋School librarian here! My main recommendation is graphic novels and audiobooks! My ADHD 12 yr old loves stories but has the attention span of a gold fish. The different formats have really helped him feel like a reader (he also really enjoys reading on a tablet...you can set dyslexic font on it!)

I just bought 19 Minutes but I'm a school librarian so I'm scared to read it 😳

I read Water for Elephants a when I used to commute to NYC and there was definitely sobbing on the train at some points.

I ran my first marathon this year and read Brothersong by TJ Klune for that exact reason. I was like I'm stressed by the events in this book...better get my heart pumping and push through 🤣
