A break from the political mumbo jumbo.... had surgery on my right foot 11 days ago. Today was 1st visit with the surgeon post op. Things are looking good, still have several weeks before I can walk on it.

In non-political news, it's a bright sunny day in the Gem State, about 60 degrees out, and a fine day for wearing shirts and firing up the grill. Today I'm going to put the chaos aside and enjoy the moment.

Never thought I would consider Richard M. Nixon as a role model, but even he understood diplomacy.

Just to step away from politics for a moment.... snowfall last night, giving my trees a fine new winter coat. A small reminder that there's still some beauty to be found in the world.
