So I built my own.

That decision turned into a year of coding, experiments, and prototypes, until I arrived at a solid, reproducible flow.

The alternatives felt wrong, either cheap in quality or expensive without justification. A 50€ poster that didn’t honor the moment of a newborn never sat right with me.

It started as a personal project.

I wanted a truly meaningful gift for friends who had just welcomed a newborn, something that actually honored that moment.

I’m sharing the first article in a series where I break down the concepts and formulas needed to actually understand and draw star maps yourself.
