We study tape because it reveals the truth of supply and demand in the effort and result of market participants. News and headlines distract us from what the tape is already showing. As speculators, we view the tape as the primary source of real-time market information.

If we can take that primary demand channel and hold, there will be another push, if not watch that supply channel.

The mnq market has been in a demand channel (bullish) from May 2025, after an overbought run up, it traded down to oversold and failed to move up past 50%. It has now traded below the demand line. If it fails to move back to the channel my bias switches to bearish until the tape shows otherwise.
