We’re talking about a 1-2% wealth tax on wealth over £100 million. Given that the return on wealth (in this context land, buildings, minerals &c) is 5%+ this means they’re still making massive incomes.

On Wednesday evening I saw La Boheme performed by the Ukrainian Opera and Ballet Company Київ. At the end of the curtain call the cast unfurled two Ukrainian flags and sang their national anthem. The entire audience stood and applauded. Слава Україні
