Men with BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations should get annual #ProstateCancer screening.

The IMPACT trial finds BRCA1 carriers are 3 times more likely to have aggressive prostate cancers than non-carriers.

These miniature 3D models of human tissue mimic the behaviour of real tumours and are considered the future of #CancerResearch.

🚨 Big news from the TORPEdO trial

IMRT is just as effective as proton beam therapy for most head and neck cancer patients.

That means more people can access the best treatment locally—without needing specialist centres.

Scientists discover a new drug target to treat #PancreaticCancer.

In the lab, blocking the SPP1 protein completely stopped pancreatic cancer from spreading to the liver and lungs.

🚨 NEW cancer test could predict treatment up to a decade before it’s needed.

Developed by researchers at the ICR and @idibaps.bsky.social, it reads DNA methylation to trace tumour evolution.

This could revolutionise personalised cancer care across many cancer types.
