Anyone else stop reading at "impactful"? What's wrong with "effective" huh? Stop murdering language!

Worth pointing out that in countries that protect employees and have universal healthcare, McDonalds workers don't need to rely on food banks. So McDonalds can pay their workers a fair wage. They just choose not to in the USA because they don't have to.

Seriously? Exercises? Is it still normal to not using a roadside breathalyser and evidential breathalyser or blood test at the station?

If it helps, I bought the kindle version solely on the strength of enjoying your comedy output. Very much enjoyed it even though I seldom read anything that isn't comedy /crime/sci-fi/fantasy. I will buy more :-)

That's more like it. Bought...

Can't pass up a bargain. Now in my library!

Drat. Missed the normal price promo. When Amazon drop the kindle price to something vaguely approaching reasonable I will invest!

Lovely clip. Can anyone explain to me *why* a 96 year old man is having to drive his disabled son to the doctors office - especially when he is at risk of killing a child in a school zone? Can't help thinking that the speeding ticket is not the problem here...

Or - curveball - allow asylum seekers to work and pay tax while they are waiting for their claim to be processed. Keep tabs on them, give them a special NI number and BOSH!

Not quite accurate. Terry Jones wrote the screenplay but the actual story was conceived by Jim Henson and Dennis Lee.

Some people are just not suited to the heat, the sun and doing nothing. Some love that. I'm in the hate category. Can't abide being bored, temperatures above 25c or direct sun due to my pale and northern skin.

Enjoyed this - particularly 6 and 28 as I love bad jokes. The one I didn't like was 31. Easy to figure out but didn't feel at all cryptic. Still haven't figured out the clue about the bikers - maybe a bit niche?

Love to :-)

Guided fossil hunt and tour? Visit to Biddlesford farm for Welly Wednesday?

Worth noting that it ONLY costs that much in the USA. In the UK 21 tablets are £3500 or about $4600. So about $12k of your figure is US insurance company profit.

Note that Rankin is the sort of author who puts 12 books in the Brentford Trilogy (or quartet). It's probably a tradition or an old charter or something...

Sadly I can't read the article but isn't the scandal just that a daily mail journalist was offended on behalf of everyone else and the BBC did what it usually does and grovel rather than saying "literally no one was offended by the joke"

May I recommend Zombies Run. It turns the boring exercise of running into the far more exciting past time of "running away"

Missing the words "In the USA". I think the UK got there about a hundred years previously in terms of married women keeping their own earnings and 50 years previously in terms of married women not needing a husbands permission to work.

Why didn't you tell us about this at Episode 1? I'm going to have to rewind satire in my head by two weeks now!
