The issue would turn on whether it was reasonable to use lethal force like most of these cases. They can remove the case to federal court, but that doesn’t prevent state prosecution. The state would try the case in federal court.

I appreciate nonviolent protests. But even Martin Luther King, Jr. acknowledged later in life the need for more action when he said, “Riots are the voice of the unheard.”
