Part of the group enjoyed an amazing week attending the IAS meeting in Huelva, with a great and productive ichnological session, and an interesting fieldtrip to the unique Tinto River.

Organising the 18th International Ichnofabric Workshop was a long way, but it was fascinating hosting friends in our city, sharing science and doing some leisure activities as well.
It is always nice to meet this community and we are proud to be part of this.

On saturday we finished the 18th IIW with the second day of the post-meeting fieldtrip, visiting amazing shallow marine outcrops from Almería province (SE Spain).

Check our new paper from our PhD student Cabrera-Ortiz et al. published at the 1st Bouma SP in #JSR about the palaeoenvironmental conditions and evolution of the popular Miocene turbidites fromTabernas (SE Spain) based on ichnological analysis.
