Discord craft night with friends. It's been a hot minute since I've done a chill craft night, so it was great! First up was Bloktus, a 3D printed model kit by Indie Toy. Gonna need some cleanup, but it's really cute. Bought it at SDCC.

Infinity Train pt 1 seen! Didn't have time to eat dinner before this nearly 3 hour movie plus trailers, so we ended up sneaking in some things from Mitsuwa. Thought it was appropriate. (I still bought popcorn & a drink)

I've been kicking around this idea for a while. I want to document installing these upgrades to my Captain America Endgame costume. Maybe it'll help someone who wants to go this route but is too afraid to try.

And then the final fix for SDCC. I really need to get a wig box to store my Gambit '97 wig. It's the fourth time I've styled it. Yes, it's kind of different each time. Just sitting out in the craft room, getting dusty or scrunched by other crafting supplies, it needs a dedicated storage box.

Next up, actually cutting up this Gambit shirt. For Dragon Con, I bought one true to my size instead of oversize. It was definitely too tight compared to the show. This time I bought one in unisex XL, and it fits much better. Arm holes are right over my shoulders instead of on the collar bones.

The forearm insert piece was attached to an upholstery vinyl flap with Velcro strips to hook on the underside of the forearm. Ripped all that out, and instead made it a zippered flap that the insert just sits on top via Velcro.

First up, fixing up Bucky. Once again, it's being loaned out to Eliah. Just needed to fix some wear and tear on the harness, but the big fix is making the forearm piece easier to put on.

So it turns out, this was my first time going to Cole's. I do hate that it took the news of this place going for me to finally visit. Founded in 1908, it's one of LA's oldest restaurants. Food and drinks were great. So sad they're closing, as they're an institution. Please go if you get the chance.

I'm more of a 1/6 scale collector than 1/8, plus I have limited space for the current Hot Toys collection let alone starting a new one. But this could be cool for Bebop fans & collectors.

I really should make more of these. Not just Star Wars. Bought some comic book, videogame,floral, and space inspired fabrics in a variety of colors. I should make them before going to SDCC next month.

Praise me, I did a plumbing thing for the first time. First photo, that's where the old fridge water line connects to the water heater cold line (via saddle valve). There's no way to shut that off. So, I installed an inline valve that can actually stop the water (after getting rid of the fridge).
