I've been pulling some numbers for hours played on Steam games. @ezra-szanton.itch.io pointed out that the game with the highest median playtime on Steam would be Aseprite.

So, yanno, if you're going for your new 1,000-hour obsession, playing a pixel art editor may do the trick.

There's often too little info out there about smaller titles. Working on a chatbot that you can point to any Steam game and ask it questions to see if it's worth your playing.

When you have your automated processes post an alert to Slack whenever something raises an exception, don't post to Slack about the exception that the Slack poster raises when it's rate limited for posting too many Slack posts, because it'll post about the Slack rate limit, then get rate limited...

I bought the original game for the Amiga, and returned it because I couldn't figure out how to get past, like, the 4th room. This was the room. I learned, years later, that you could go down, towards the screen.
