Trying out hot pressed watercolour paper and it's definitely different from what I'm used to. This is a painting of a random cat.

I can't finish the bird on the right because I used too much water. I did want to find out how much this paper could handle though.

Painted with acrylics today and the sketchbook I have is supposed to work well with it but I think it buckles a bit too much. Makes it a bit hard to layer colours.

My dinner today was absolutely delicious
