Hi all,

I wrote an op-ed in my personal capacity to discuss why the popular trend of asking Taiwan to spend up to 10% of its GDP on defense, as Trump suggested, might not be good enough. I hope this op-ed can help U.S. policymakers and Taiwan align their objectives.
