Yes to all of this but also making productive puts. All year when they had guys at 2nd with 0 out or 3rd with one out they could make the right contact to move them over and move them in. Not in the last two games though. I told my wife not getting add on runs might bite them. They had chances.

Had been wondering about this. I thought with Rojas staggering back that IKF would have scored.

That's a lot of blue.

Wonder if Miller and Silovs swapped jerseys or dress shirts.

I thought Fox News has problems reporting facts but the sports team does too, I guess. I don't watch them much though, so that's on me.

As you said, great that Benevides stayed with it when people called for his job. And credit to O-line coach Paul Charbonneau too, that group has played well through injuries to their best guys.

Nice job, Ben. Watching that first few innings for Gausman though, I couldn't help but wonder if he was tipping pitches with how the Rays were able to not chase, even their less experienced players. Would the Jays have video staff look at that? If he did, we know the Yankees would find it.

Do you think if Cootes stays up for nine games Raty could have some time to work on his game with the skills coach and play every second or third game? If he gets close to where he was last year, it would be time to send Cootes back to Seattle.

Great. I have an E-ARC that I started last night. My lit circle group enjoyed Book 1 last year. I let one of them try the e-ARC a couple weeks ago. I thought he was previewing it, but then he just finished it. He was a very happy guy.

I wish, but I am in BC. No virtual launch, right?

I know...right. I am reading one too, and I am really liking it but it feels too familiar. I am not a librarian anymore, but teach grade 6/7. I am not seeing many kids sell books with this plot point to other kids. Do you? The very well written books like these are sitting on the shelves of my room.

I am a few hours north but caught it Sunday night. Thought it was unusually bright.
