Valthos has taken on many identities over his life for various purposes. Usually to obtain something not meant for him or deal with someone in one way or another. While canonically he wouldn't be so obviously looking the same, I like to show his true form in his identities and not the disguise.

Honestly, morally gray magic nerds are always interesting. I think their specific fields of hyper focus would be slightly different based on my limited ff lore knowledge but similar enough to definitely trade notes sometimes. Should design an au-ra version of him sometime.

A lovely piece by a lovely artist on Picarto. While often lewd/nsfw with eachother it's more of a testament to how much they desire and feel comfortable with the other. I promise they can behave, and perhaps I'll show that off in their next piece.

Fleshed out originally as a villain for a campaign I was running, when that fell through, I decided to play Salem as a privateering artificer who lost his crew. He really grew on me as simply a nerdy dude in an overly complex world.
