One of my favorite activities with students is creating temperature stripes of daily temperature anomalies throughout the semester. I think it gives them a better sense of what climate stripes represent! #ShowYourStripes

From my alma mater, UNCA. I'm so thankful everyone is safe there, and students are cared for. Twenty years ago we experienced horrendous floods in Asheville, and I watched the slow recovery of the city. This is so much worse than 2004. I can't wrap my head around it.
