Is it best to completely separate each function/ function group and import them all into a master file that is the one being ran? or is there better practice? I’m still pretty green with python and non-web projects

Now i’m familiar with general practice for web dev. But when it comes to an offline project, at what scope should one try to break up their project into multiple files? I can imagine using a single file for an entire large project like a game could cause issues due to memory limitations
