So, #writingcommunity - I'm running into a weird problem. I'm drafting and having an awesome time with the story and characters but like... It's impacting my sleep. I'm tired and a little grumpy pretty much all the time but hitting the stop button is really hard. Any advice?

Well friends, we crested 25k on the fan fic yesterday and I'm realizing I have no choice but to see it through to the end. It's a little scary, if I'm honest. It might be the longest thing I've ever written that's not NaNoWriMo content and I want to do it Well. Just have to trust my characters.

Because of Story Reasons, I'm trying to come up with Pratchett-esque names for conference rooms in Heaven, and so far "Awkward Gathering Space 1.5" and "Room No One Actually Wants to Occupy" are the top two. Any other ideas?

I lodged a Complaint at my local eyeglasses place about my new glasses, which are currently on round number 3 at the lab. The first time, the left lens literally wobbled after I'd been wearing them for less than a day. I got them back after 2 weeks & the barrel distortion is awful. Fingers crossed!

Question for the hivemind: is there a mini-game you've played where you have to put certain musical notes in a specific order to make a scale or a few measures of song? And if so, which video game did it come from? (Writing research questions are fun!)
