Why would backers need to inform themselves of the game they already own? The unfairness is about backers getting it after reviewers if they sent out codes to reviewers.

Team Cherry greatly respects the backers that made Hollow Knight possible. It’s the reason why they are successful. Silksong was spun off as a separate game but originally it was a stretch goal of HK as a second playable character. They want backers to get the first taste of it over reviewers.

It’ll sell without early reviews. That’s the bottom line. Hollow Knight sold the vast majority of its sales after Silksong was announced (not because it it just worked out that way). So they don’t need day one reviews to pump its sales like other games that rely heavily on the first month of sales.

That level of whoops should be banned off schedule not only right before standard rotation. I don’t see how that’s even an excuse.

If you’re not gonna use it to ban anything because you wanna see how rotation shakes out then why even schedule a bannings and restricted post right before rotation? Seems pointless. It doesn’t make it feel more stable. It makes it feel neglected. Move the yearly B&R or actually ban something.
