An update about SNAP Work Requirements. The IL Depart. of Human Services exempts individuals who receive SSI or SSDI from SNAP Work Requirements. An exemption request form is not needed. For questions about SNAP Work Requirements, visit this screener portal:

SNAP funding stopped as of 11/1/25 due to the gov't shutdown. Many IL residents with developmental disabilities could lose food access. ICDD is calling for volunteers to be on standby to support food access for the community. Here is a link to volunteer: forms.cloud.microsoft/Pages/Respon...
